~ SPLINTER AUDITIONS ~
Splinter is growing and will be holding AUDITIONS for more company members to fill new repertoire!
Looking for male and female dancers who are proficient at learning and performing various styles of dance. Strengths in hip hop or breakdance, contemporary or lyrical movement are encouraged. A strong desire to use dance as a tool for bringing social awareness to the community also required. Performances range from educational shows in schools across the U.S., to local corporate and private event entertainment and local community events.

Providence Health & Services; Christmas Carnival Performance
Providence Health & Services, Christmas Carnival “is a free admission event open to the community to come to The Westin Seattle Ballroom where you will preview FIFTEEN elaborately designer decorated Christmas trees and to participate in some holiday fun and folly. Families all over Puget Sound have made this event part of their holiday tradition….”
Splinter will be performing one Hip hop piece around 6pm AND 7pm.
Free and open to the public! Family Friendly!

Beacon Rocks – Sunday August 28th
Come out and celebrate the summer at the 2011 Lander Festival Street event, Beacon Rocks! Splinter will be performing at 4:45pm – after the Street Festival Dedication by Seattle’s Mayor Mike McGinn!
This event features the renaming ceremony where the “Lander Festival Street” (the first and only Festival Street in Seattle so far) will officially become the Roberto Maestas Festival Street, with words from representatives from El Centro de la Raza, the Mayor of Seattle and more! Plus the usual lineup of performers, food, and family fun that are part of every “Beacon Rocks!” event.
Clothing Exchange: bring your gently used clothing, sort them onto the tables provided, Shop for free and take home some new to you treasures!
